Maybe I can stick with this...? Post #1

4 years ago I started blogging. Blogging was still in it's infancy. I didn't last long. Uploading pictures took 2 hours and that was approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes too long, especially when you have a 3 year old. I tried to find my old blog but sadly the World Wide Web ate it...?! I don't know, but it's inaccessible now. 

Anyway we recently bought our first home and wow what a dump it (was). Let's get started with the lovely pictures my husband first showed me when he exclaimed, " I WANT THIS HOUSE!" After you see the pictures you can image the horror on my face!  The man has a way of getting what he wants though! Grrr! BUT after 10 years together, "I" managed to get him to agree to cook dinner every night....so I must have some of my own magic as well ;) 

So for now I leave you with the first time I laid eyes on our "new" house! 

Thankfully, the house no longer looks (exactly) like this. I hope to share tips for decorating on the cheap, ideas that inspire me, and tutorials for easy DIYs that will turn any house into a home!
